My puppy loves this toothpaste. It was hard getting him open up his mouth the first time, nevertheless, once he tasted the wonderful vanilla sweet taste, he gets excited every time his teeth are brushed. The toothbrush works great too. My puppy trainer told me the toothbrushing process for dog is really different from human. It's not as much brushing but rather have the toothpaste applied and let the ingredients work on the teeth, yet I find this toothbrush works well and i can brush his teeth and gums like mine, however i wouldn't work as long on his teeth. It leaves a very pleasant vanilla scent which my dog and I both love.

My dogs love the toothpaste and the toothbrush is perfect for brushing a dog's teeth. However, just because they love the taste doesn't mean they like having their teeth brushed. Two of my dog's just came to live with us at ages 8 and 9 and I don't think they have had their teeth brushed, at least not regulary so it's going to take patience and repetition for them to get used to it. I can only imagine what it would be like if they didn't like the toothpaste. I also have a puppy and he seems to deal with it much better. The older dogs had really bad breath and this product is very effective. I would definitely recommend this product.

The concept behind this canine toothbrush is great, but it just isn't large enough for the tooth size of my 100+ pound dog. His teeth are too wide for this three sided brush to wrap around and still stimulate his gums. I think it would work great on a small dog.

I'd just go to Petsmart and by the toothpaste and get a normal people toothbrush for your dog.
The brush is absolutly no good for dogs with small muzzles (chihuahua, toy breeds etc) and not big enough for a German Sheppard Dog. Plus since it's triple sided it restricts you from doing the proper angle along the gumline.
Small dog owners, buy a baby tooth brush. Large dog owners, buy an adult tooth brush. Sometimes i like to wrap and ace bandage around my finger and use the texture off them to clean teeth.
The toothpaste smells nice and the dogs loved it and they haven't keeled over yet so it doesn't contain any toxic chinese-made ingredients.

This toothbrush does the job in half the time, and we all know how quickly our dogs want to get this over with. I highly recommend getting this as it is so important to brush your dogs teeth on a consistant basis. And the toothpaste is made with all Natural ingredients that the dog loved! Great job!
