Would be nice for big dogJul 08, 2008
By Ria I ordered this to use with my Welsh Corgi who has a tendency to pull. What I got was a leash that is way too big for a dog of her size. It is incrediably bulky. While I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with a small to medium sized dog, I could see it as being very useful for larger dogs.

The leash is great!! Our dog pulls alot and this leash is so soft that it does not hurt our hands like the usual nylon leashes do. I used to wear gloves just to take my dog for a walk. Now he is less agitated too because my hands are comfortable enough that I can easily control him on this leash! Great great product! I am thinking of buying the same collar for my dog when his old one wears out!

I have the cutest leash and harness! Bridget is so proud and loves showing off this adora-bull set! It washes well and is really sturdy. The fleece lining keeps it nice & soft and the hardware is heavy duty. We got the green, it looks so cute & is environmentally friendly! WOO HOO!

Great, one catchOct 18, 2010
By G. Olsen Really excellent and comfortable leash. The only small issue is the size of the clip that attaches it to a collar. We use a gentle leader, and would have preferred a smaller clip (as this one occasionally hits our pup in the face). He doesn't seem to mind much, but it's a consideration, especially if you use a gentle leader on a smaller dog (our dog is 70lbs). If you plan to use a harness or a traditional collar, it will be great!

Sturdy, and Doesn't Cut My HandsOct 06, 2008
By Ana Mardoll Hemp Leash, Medium, Apple Green / B000AYB4VK
I bought this leash for my 4 month old, 14 pound puppy, to go with the matching collar (sold separately). My puppy loves to pull at his lead and I didn't want to buy a small harness since he'll just outgrow it in a few months... and the medium harness just hangs on him so far. This leash and collar, though, are a good substitute in the meantime.
The fleece on the handle is very soft and gentle and I no longer feel like I have invisible cuts on my hands (unlike the nylon lead we were using before). I was concerned that the fleece/hemp leash would get dirty easily, but so far it still looks like new, even after having been dragged through some mucky water one day. The hemp leash is thick and sturdy and - surprisingly - I feel that my puppy isn't pulling nearly as much as before. And when he does pull, I don't worry so much that he might hurt his little neck, since the collar has fleece to cushion him a little.
The leash seems a little shorter than the nylon lead we were using, but I prefer the shorter length because it gives my puppy less leeway to pull all over the place. Our walks have been much more enjoyable, both for me (less pain and pulling) and for him (less neck pain, and he seems proud of his 'big boy' leash). I love the green color and the eco-friendly materials and I recommend this leash as a wonderful upgrade from those cheap nylons.
