I have a 120 lb Rhodesian Ridgeback and this collar has held up real well through wear, washings and abuse. it slowly gets softer as the years go by. She's been wearing it over 2 years now! Great collar.

I bought the Large Apple Green collar for my 8 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback. The color is true to the color you see in the pictures, and the hardware seems to be pretty sturdy. The clasp is plastic, seems a smidge weak compared to other plastic-buckled collars I've owned, but I don't think it will be a problem.
The D-ring is solid metal, and has been very sturdy to date. The material is like a weathered cotton, but with no weakness problems. The only really bad thing I could say about the collar is the price, but it is a quality product and looks good on the dog!

We have bought 2 of these collars now for our French Bulldog and they are great. They are sturdy but not heavy. He doesn't mind wearing it and while he has skin allergies this collar doesn't affect him at all. He had his first one for a year and we got him a new one (different color) for the holidays (yes, we spoil him). The first one he is still in great shape and we have it as a back up in our car in case we ever lose one or it gets broken for some reason while out and about.

I love these collars. The colors are great (I've seen them all but own the purple and the green). They're soft and seem comfortable to wear (the dog's never complain). If they seem a bit stiff at first, don't worry, they'll quickly soften up. The first one I bought 5 years ago and it's still going strong. At this time they came with a metal buckle and I love it. The metal is less likely to break than plastic. Although, I did notice that if it gets wet you have to make sure it closes properly if you often take your collar off as sometimes the prongs can stick a little. They no longer make the metal buckles and have moved only to plastic. These still hold up really well. My plastic one I bought 3 years ago and it's still going strong. I've had no problems with this plastic buckle. I'd highly recommend these to any dog owner.

I bought the large size for my dog and found it to be overly big. Then, within a month, the stitching began to come out. The leash ring, which also holds tags, will be off soon. This collar is poorly made. DO NOT BUY THIS COLLAR.
