 Not for the TUFF-estMar 16, 2010

We have bought many Planet Dog/Orbee-Tuff toys, and this one isn't one of our favorites. This ball may be good for dogs that just play fetch with it, but it is not for a dog that constantly likes to chew and mouth it. The outer white shell is starting to come apart from the red shell underneath. I do have two German Shepherds who are constantly chewing on it though. But for a longer lasting ball, try the Planet Dog glow in the dark ball, or one of their solid colored ones.

I was disappointed in this ball, as my doberman had the "stitching" peeled/pulled off the ball within hours. I would recommend Orbee's other products that are made out of one continuous piece of material over this ball, which was easily destroyed by my dog.

We have a 2-year old put bull/lab mix, that loves to play fetch, and throw around his toys by himself. He would chew everything we bought him to pieces within a day, or two. These Planet Dog "tuff toys" are the best thing in the world. He loves them, plays with them all the time, and they are indestructible. Best value for the dollar we have found anywhere.

This toy came recommended from other lab owners as tough enough to withhold typical play. This toy didn't last four hours with our two dogs. They are typical retrievers, but no more aggressive chewers than most. We are extremely disappointed and will never buy another Orbee Tuff ball.

I've had plenty of toys for my three lab mixes and none of them lasted this long. I was doubting that it would last even a day with my dogs since they have shredded every toy they've had in the past. It's rubbery toy and very flexible, making it hard for my dogs to find that certain spot would would enable them to tear it apart. My only complaint is that it gets very slimey with all the drool.
