I have two of these beds in two sizes. One is for my toy poodle and the other is for my two cats. I have them. They wash up nice and the bed travels really well.

After trying several other 'great' beds we finally found this one. Our dog loves this bed and our cat has now started to invade it so we may need to buy one for him too. Our dog is one of those stinky breeds and we need to wash his bedding at least once a week because of it. The other brands we tried couldn't hold up to this regimen and we found ourselves spending a lot of money on expensive beds that fell apart after a couple of months. This bed from West Paws is a different story. The cover is a heavyweight material, like canvas or heavy denim. The zippers are industrial grade zippers. The stuffing is lightweight and durable. Each week we unzip the covers from the stuffing, close the zips and then toss the covers in the washer and dryer. What makes this so easy and effective is that you don't need to wash the stuffing because the cover protects it completely. We also love the fact that you can mix and match the pillow colors with the bumper colors. Stylish digs for our stinky pup? You bet! And who would have thought! We won't buy another brand of bed again - this IS it.

This bed is awful! The middle pillow NEVER stays put so you basically just have a square pillow laying on top of a circle. So it looks awful! Also, they put "orthopedic" in their description, which is a complete lie! It feels like there are cotton balls inside or the cotton that is in the tops of some medicine when you first open it. My dog is basically laying on the floor. You step on it and your foot is hitting the ground. If there's a blanket on the floor, he chooses to lay on the blanket over his bed. So upset with this purchase. I couldn't return it so I'm stuck with this bed that I paid $150 for. I have to buy a new bed. I am going to get a TRUE orthopedic, memory foam bed.
Maybe this bed would be comfortable for a tiny animal that wouldn't end up hitting the floor. But for any dog that is over 15 or 20 pounds I wouldn't recommend it.
