I love it, but it's a mediocre toy pick for my picky catMay 06, 2012

I was lucky enough to receive the blue and brown version of this product and the color choices are superb. The fabric is super soft and is not prone to getting dirty or catching lint or debris. The toy itself is about 6 inches long, 4 inches at its widest, and about an inch thick. This is a good size for the cat to pounce on and play with, although it could be a bit bigger, as my cat likes to kick at it with his back feet and his feet will sometimes slip off the end of the toy during play, which seems to frustrate him. The included bell works as you would expect.
As for the negative, the packaging for this toy was odd. It came with many of those plastic pieces sticking in it for tags, even though a couple failed to have tags on them. Of course this is easily remedied with a pair of scissors. Also, my particular feline is very picky when it comes to toys. I have learned since purchasing this that he prefers bird type toys to any other and he will only play with this one when the mood strikes and he can't find bird type toys to play with. He also seems to not react to any catnip (which some cats don't), so I cannot rate the efficacy of the cat nip included in the toy.
Overall if your cat is the type that would enjoy this toy, I highly recommend it as it's eco-friendly and well made and the only problem I've experienced with it is that it's not to my cat's tastes.
