I bought this because my dogs are heavy chewers. KONG toys are the only "invincible" toys they have not destroyed. But I thought I'd try this because it didnt have many edges. I thought they wouldn't be able to chew off a sharper edge. I was SEVERELY disappointed. My Boarder Collie had it destroyed within 1 hour of having it out of the box. Not only was breaking in the center but he was chewing pieces off of it. DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE HEAVY CHEWERS.

Took my dog all of 3 minutes to completely destroy one end of the bone. She left me picking up small chewed up bits of rubber for the entire afternoon.

My pittbull destroys all toys but the kong beehive and the blue thing. I am desperate for indestructible toys. My pocketbook cant take much more experimentation, I thought I would try this toy. Within 12 hours he was able to take a pretty big chunk out of this toy. NOT as great as it claims. Also, I was upset when I found this toy at REI for the same price. I could have avoided shipping costs and it could have been easily returnable...with their 100% satisfaction guarantee. Its not worth it to return, because what I would have paid in shipping would surpass the value of the toy.

After researching this product, as a do all of the toys I purchase for my dogs, I bought into this durable, long lasting chew toy, and my 1.5 year old, 65lb Lab feel in love with the Hurley. Within the first 15 minutes I thought I had found "THE" chew toy. FORGET IT! Within the next 15 minutes he had about a fourth of the Hurley eaten off completely. From the advertising side its great thinking on their part because the use the words durable, indestructible, long lasting, etc. They even offer a return if it doesn't hold up, but only once so they know the odds are on their side. Just think how many people actually spend the money to send the Hurley back when it cost less than 12 bucks in the first place. Not worth it, and they have one of the greatest situations. Looking from their side of the Hurley I can see why they are willing to replace it only once and with this said, they are making a killing on this toy!

I purchased the large Hurley bone because it was supposed to be indestructible, but after about 10 mins my part beagle/boston terrier mix dog had one end in pieces.
